Clarks` On Main in Clayton

Stopped in for the rooftop bar on my travels. It was a definite gem. Their beer selection is pretty good. Their food was typical bar fare but done well. The brussel sprouts were my favorite. Our waitress was exceptional!

We were down on vacation and the food was wonderful :-) the staff was awesome. You must try the steak tacos Yum

Roof top dining with a wonderful view! Have the tuna bites, they're delicious! Great gluten free options.

Dakota was at the rooftop bar tonight and he's a great guy! Attentive but let's you have a good conversation with your group. He makes perfect drinks and great food service as well. If you like Old Fashions, get him to make you one his way. That's the way it should be done in my opinion. His espresso martini is a great after dinner drink as well. 10 out of 10. We'll be back the next time we're in Clayton.

Food was awesome! Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked, best I've had. The burger was much better than your average burger. All in all really great experience.

I’m a college student, and don’t have much money to spend. Generally, the prices are reasonable. Their nachos are amazing, and MOST of the bartenders are awesome. One of the bartenders, by the name of Matt, followed me out of the bar one night and told me that I shouldn’t eat out because he didn’t think a tip I left was adequate. The rating would be five stars if it wasn’t for this incident.

My favorite restaurant in town. Owned by the nicest people you will ever meet. Delicious food and a great beer selection. Their rooftop bar is the new cool spot to spend evenings while in town. Watch the sunset over black rock mountain and enjoy a drink.

Food was fantastic! View was great from up on the roof. Service not so great. Was stuck waiting for the bill. And then stuck waiting longer to get my card back. Overall, I'd go back and hope for better service next time.

Went to Clark’s in main for my moms birthday. Ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner. My moms wine wasn’t even a full pour which we later found out was Bc it was the end of the bottle. Not sure why they didn’t just open a new one. They brought the wrong appetizer but then brought the right one a few min later. Two people in our pArty order burgers. Both were burnt. My dad ordered shrimp Alfredo but they brought chicken. When we told them they said asked did he like it? He said it was fine bc we didn’t want to wait for them to make his dish and was still charged for it. The food for the most part was okay. Minus the burnt burgers and my dad said the pasta had barely any sauce and was bland. Prob won’t go back.

It was awesome except there was an 84 year old man god bless his soul having his bday party there and gosh they were loud but hey its a pub what do you expect...but the food was freaking AMAZING ... fairly priced and great atmosphere . Will definitely be back when we visit Dillard again.

Fantastic. Great atmosphere and food. Friendly service and good prices. Must go when in clayton. Everyone in the place seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves which makes for an awesome, inviting atmosphere. Especially when the staff seem happy to help you. Also has 3 floors which is a nice touch. The rooftop bar is a great view of downtown. Peaceful and relaxing during the day, and good bar banter on nights and weekends. Just and all around fun place for a family on the first floor or a date night maybe on the roof

Took forever to get our lemon martinis. Ordered Brussels sprouts for appetizers and got my dinner salad before the appetizer. No silverware to eat my salad... i had to be ask twice. Waitress never asked if we wanted another Martini. Ordered the lavender icecream sandwich, when it finally arrived it was melting. Worst service ever. The food was good. But the experience was a major let down. One person eating in our party said she'd never come back. I'm thinking the same. And it wasn't even that busy. Lots of empty tables.

One of the only restaurants open on Christmas Eve, but they accomodated the diners with efficiency, and great food! We were very happy to find it. Roof-top seating available as weather allows Adult beverages. Reasonable prices.

Best burger in North Georgia. Eclectic menu that includes ahi tuna and fried brussel sprouts. Delicious! Lots of tvs downstairs for sports and a unique rooftop to watch mountain sunsets.

They have good food, good service & they have good Irish music one friday each month!

The good: great rooftop view, solid bar service, really great food! Great beer list and plenty of relaxed but thoughtful atmosphere. The bad: tables were crazy wobbly, server ignored us repeatedly (even when we just wanted the bill) & no clue what the specials were ... even after we asked.*Server was a lone agent in the lack of service. Other staff was incredibly friendly - just seems like a tough labor market.

Fun place if you have family in town. During the good weather months the rooftop is a lovely place to eat. Food can be hit or miss. I've had good tacos and some bad wings. But all in all a good place to visit if you want a little more sophisticated sports bar dining experience without breaking the budget.

Great location in Clayton, Ga. Staff was attentive and the space nice, though a bit dark inside. A nice pub feel.

This is literally and I do mean literally the worst place I have ever eatin. We left after our drinks (20min) and horrendous chips then went accross the street.

Our favorite place to have a cocktail and tacos!Clark's has great atmosphere, especially with their new rooftop lounge! Stopping in for one of their signature cocktails is a must every time I find myself in Clayton. There food is so yummy and they have special aioli dips for the fries! They also do a good job of keeping the main dining and ground floor bar area activated with djs and trivia nights. The service is always great and the owners are just the sweetest. They have a middle floor middle floor dining room which is perfect for private parties and intimate gatherings. 5 stars all around!

This used to be our go to in Clayton and we visited pretty often, but the last few visits just aren't what they were. Staff has changed and the food just isn't what it used to be. Not sure what's up and will give another chance but for now disappointed. They had to close recently because of some issue, had their alcohol service license pulled. Lots of rumors and innuendo but the owners didn’t help themselves by coming clean and setting things straight. Apparently they did get the license back after a couple weeks. Guess it’ll all play out in time but too bad for Clayton, we need a good variety of restaurants, hope they pull it back together. Will definitely give them another try.

I visit the area a few times a year. If I could only choose one dining spot in Clayton, Clarks' on Main would be the place. Clarks' possesses a very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Although it is a perfect sports bar, someone forgot to tell the kitchen, as the food is fresh and consist of a large variety of delicious offerings. It is a step up from your typical sports bar while still (somehow) maintaining modest prices. In short, deciding not to dine here because you do not want "sports bar cuisine" would be a mistake. Also, you get a distinct notion that management is invested as I have yet to have average nor below average service.

Visited the rooftop bar on a mild, sunny November afternoon. Beautiful view of downtown and the surrounding mountains, a full bar menu with plenty of wines, beers, and liquors to choose from. Good burgers and salads and a fantastic Mac & cheese. Very pleasant service from Nancy and overall a pleasant and rewarding dining experience.

The server was very professional. It was crazy busy but the wait after being seated was not intolerable. The food was absolutely worth every penny spent

We ordered two classic burgers, the "unapologetic" burger and hot wings. The wings were good. The burgers were a bit under seasoned and inconsistently cooked. Three medium rare burgers were one char-grilled and medium, one rare to raw and on cooked to medium well perfection. They were very generously portioned, topped with fresh produce, and covered in cheese. The "unapologetic" is topped with an egg and a delicious bacon jelly. The fries were average; the onion rings were interesting, but an undercooked doughy mess in the middle. The view is very nice. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. I'll be back to sit on the rooftop and explore the menu a bit more.

Great place for locals and visitors alike! Vast casual plus menu. We had chicken, steak, fruit shrimp, and Korean beef tacos. They were all deliciously prepared. They also have a Ton of TVs to watch sports and a full bar to include draft beers.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. You must try the Unapologetic Burger! Kind servers and the owner was involved and accessible. We also had a ton of fun at Musical Bingo!

The rooftop bar is the coolest place with the best views. We have eaten here several times and everything we have tried has been delicious. From the atmosphere & staff to the great food....I just love this place.

Cozy & warm. I had the white chicken chili, it was creamy, filled with chicken and finished with a slight hint of heat- great! I also had the shrimp tacos - 2 was the perfect serving size if you have an appetizer. My husband had the fried chicken meal. It was very crispy and the mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing. I was a anticipating walking into a bistro, but it was an average sports bar. Food and atmosphere was passable.

Cozy neighborhood bar feel with great food and service. Nice rooftop dining available, provided you can handle the 3rd floor walkup. Lots of bar space and tables.
